Notes: Perfect, as usual. The coffee is the weakest – you can barely get any coffee flavor out of it. The raspberry and caramel are much more flavorful. The caramel still wins as the best.
What I love about La Maison’s macarons is that they are consistently good. They’re flown in from Paris every other day. The crumb is always light and fluffy. The filling is always rich and intensely-flavored (except the coffee, which is really just a tad too week – especially when taking with coffee). There’s no gumminess, not tooth-sticky mess in the middle.
