… for this important announcement: spring is here!
While I was away in New York, Spring happened back here at home. Upon return, my pear trees were in blossom and Mother Nature was hard at work. I’m looking forward to a great year of harvest.
I just received five new Asian pear trees that need to be planted (with specific instructions to plant them in the spring). The lawnmower also needs to come out of the garage. The beds need to be turned and the vegetables started soon. I’ve got my weekends cut out for me!

ha ha. joke was on us! all my pansies are in the garage, and i’ve been watching the dogwoods and redbuds curl up and die. and what’s going to happen to the peaches?
