A couple of weeks ago, I posted about Mimi Wheeler’s Grocer’s Daughter chocolates. Well, I’ve finished all 16 of her truffle samples and have commented on them on my flickr account.
Favorites included the Basil, Raspberry and most surprisingly, the Milk Chocolate Courvoisier. Also very strong contenders were the Whiskey and the Lavendar.
The Whiskey Fig was as good as I remember it. The Rosemary had improved due to a younger tasting rosemary infusion. Sadly, the Cherry was just as unthrilling as before, as was the Blueberry.
I have to apologize that I ate the Hummingbird Tea truffle before snapping a picture of it. Oops! Sorry, Mimi, I got impatient!! Thanks for the truffles and keep up the great work!! I look forward to tasting some of your new creations when you get them!!
