sushi scam moves to the big apple…

New Yorkers beware!! I just got word from the Corner Table – the biggest sushi scam is coming your way. Yep, if you read my review of Japonais, you’ll know what I’m talking about…Note to the owners of Japonais: you may be able to get away with peddling sub-standard sushi by providing a “hot scene” in Chicago, but New York is cut-throat. There are plenty of “scenes” there with better sushi and service. New Yorkers know their sushi… and won’t be putting up with your poor attempts to dazzle. (No offense to Chicagoans, I love you all – you know I’m a Midwesterner myself, but frankly, it’s the state of sushi in Chicago, not you, that is relatively unsophisticated).
