Thanks for reporting back, mamagotcha!! Glad it worked out so well. I was really shocked out “orange” the bread pudding looked. No ice cream? Just whipped cream?

It turned out wonderfully! We used the toasted pecans, and regular raisins, and a soft fresh loaf of French bread, and fresh whipped cream. Thanks for the idea and encouragement!

Yes, home-made cinnamon ice cream. Although, I imagine caramel ice cream would go just as well.
